Well, I hate making mistakes they happen. And since Thornton's ties with Trump are mentioned in the Liverpool Echo and that bastion of left-wing journalism The Telegraph. I don't understand your comment. I don't know when you left, but you know there is a statue of left-wing Labour MP Bessie Braddock at Lime Street Station. Why did you leave Merseyside? I'm really interested. I'm not being sarcastic. I lived in the US for a long-time, my father was a US serviceman, who loved Liverpool and my mother's family (her father was Liverpool Irish.) If you want to know, I had a 30-year-career in newspapers, including a major metro (San Antonio Light) which was closed by its owners as they bought the rival paper. Do you know why the Light was closed because it had unions. So I tend to be suspicious of US corporations. I have a number of other dealings with them, including a chemical company cited by the EPA form polluting the water of a bay know for oysters and bay shrimp. The companies' flack told me they only got in trouble because the chemicals in the discharge was illegal. I still shake my head. I was a member of the Newspaper Guild and am a member of the NUJ. I've lost a job in NC, because of campaigning for the Newspaper Guild and I was the sports editor. I write about Everton for fun. My actual job is communications work for the Breakthrough Party, which is new socialist group. Also Gov2UK, which among other things wants to bring proportional representation to the UK. Not that education matter, unless you use it. I do have a BA in history and a Masters in Communications (To be honest, Communications is a bit of a wank degree.) Anyway, hope you're not anywhere too hot. Heard it was 106 in Austin and San Antonio....

An article seeking to do no more than create division where no division exists. The author should be embarrassed at the pathetic attempt to link Trump to EFC.
